Putting myself first ALWAYS resonates with me, because it’s something that I didn’t do for many years, and still have a hard time with…I have to get really conscious whenever I don’t feel good, and ask myself where I have been failing myself. It’s a constant battle for me! I need to go back and read the companion post, because this one was a thought-provoker!

    I just finished writing a very personal and vulnerable memoir and I’ve had to working through a lot of fears of judgement over the past few years to bring it to light! And while I still am scared, I’m doing it anyway. I guess that’s what’s called courage :)

  3. Ohh… I LOVE all of these! I am not sure which is my favorite. I think #11 Take Action- even if it is baby steps. I tend to get a little overwhelmed with everything I want to do, and then I freeze. Even today, this was a good reminder to just take baby steps and I’ll get there!

    All great points Sarah! I particularly resonate with behaviors 3 and 11: “Facing your fears and doing it anyway” and “Taking action – even if it’s only baby steps”.
    I am working on setting-up my own business right now, having always worked for third parties. It is scary to take this leap, especially with the current economic situation in Europe. Still, I believe that it’s worth it and I’m taking the necessary baby steps to make my dream come true!

  5. Well golly, that’s quite a list. I’d say for me it would be, managing your own responses. Taking a moment to let something sink in instead of quickly reacting is something I’ve been trying to be aware of for a while now. Not always so easy to do, but I think it’s important to take control of your emotions. Thanks for the reminder.

  6. This blog post couldn’t be more on time. I am having some health issues and am in need a reminder to be kind to myself including accept yourself without judgement.

  7. Treating myself like my best friend sounds really good. She gets luxury treatment, lots of support and I never let her down.
