I’m near Chicago this week, working with a cool group of people. The topic under discussion is Awesome Customer Service – and what this services company has to do differently to up their (already great) game and go that extra mile.
It got me thinking about the kind of customer service we show ourselves. We spend a lot of time, energy and money to keep our best customers happy, content and loyal.
But do you offer yourself the same compliment? Do you treat yourself as if you are your best and most important customer, the way you’d expect to be treated at a 5* spa or flying transatlantic 1st class? Are you loyal to yourself?
Is the level of customer service you show yourself awesome, lukewarm or non-existent?
We all know how we like to be treated as a customer, but do you give yourself the same treatment? Do you offer yourself a ready smile? Do you do what you promised yourself you would do? When was the last time you went above and beyond to keep yourself happy?
